Hi,
I just installed the Portal MOD with s2k32a6. However the links on top and footer incorrectly refer to the portal folder instead of the forum folder. I installed the portal as following: http://localhost/portal - portal main folder http://localhost/portal/forum/ - forum folder I set home dir to "/portal/" I set forum dir to "http://localhost/portal/forum/"
Thanks,
Vlad
Vlad,
This is a simple fix, and has already been addressed in the Main Portal Mod thread. You simply need to edit the inc_top.asp and inc_footer.asp Snitz Forum files to always point to the same location. This is done by adding <%=strForumURL%> in front of all the forum links (Register, Members, Search, etc.) in both the header and footer. That little bit of ASP code is the variable that points to your forum directory and adding will solve your problems.
Any more questions, check the other thread, and if it's not in there, let me know.
Sincerely,
