I'm receiving this error as well. I've yet to get the forum to work. Any ideas? My web server is a Linux platform running Apache.

=================================================================

ADODB.Connection.1 error '800a0bb9'

The application is using arguments that are of the wrong type, are out of acceptable range, or are in conflict with one another.

inc_top.asp, line 42

Thanks again for your time!

Linux and Apache doesn't support ASP files. Unless you have some special software to interpret ASP files. ASP can only be run on Microsoft based servers since they created it. You can only run it on Unix systems using software called Chili!Soft ASP (www.chilisoft.com) which you would need to buy.

Thank you. I'll have to speak with my hosting provider. I'm fairly certain they support asp, but who knows, it IS a new server, perhaps it's not setup yet.

Thanks for your time!

I just checked with my hosting provider and they DO support ASP. Any other idea why I'm receiving the above mentioned error??

I suspect it is a problem with your database connection string. What db are you using?

(hmmm, after reading the forum title I bet it's Access :) I'm not very up on Access in a *nix environment.
