Davidmaxwell is doing some touchup work right now... so we're waiting on that... should be a couple weeks tops on release...
Internationalization starts very soon too... as soon as Davidmaxwell turns it back we'll cut loos the Internationalization group ;)

well... I'm hoping to get a nearly completed version from Davidmaxwell for you to use... Idealy, we would wait for the final version from Davidmaxwell so that you could make modifications to the source one time and prevent duplicate work from happening and wasting time.

If I get a full, up-to-date version to modify in a couple days, I'd wait.

So, how's it going with the new release? Will there be other new features in addition to archiving and moderation? Any estimated release date? |

We're testing it at the moment. You can see it here: http://forum.snitz.com/beta/v33/ Feel free to test it, if you find bugs/error please post them at the site here and add "V33Beta" in front of the topicsubject.

Oops, my bad, that happened while I was fixing one of the bugs that Davio reported. Thought it would go away, but it didn't, fixing.....ehm....database corrupted...so had to reload one from my testserver...lost contents of exiting database...didn't really matter because it was a testdatabase anyway...but you'll have to re-register...

No not yet, though there are some good things to report:
- My cablemodem is working really nice, so I don't have to limit my time online because of paying per second (was that way until yesterday)
- Monday is a public holiday here, and it looks like the weather is going to be really bad
- I have seen a couple of bugreports, and that is good, because no version is without bugs, and bugs that are fixed before release makes it more stable

How dramatic do you thing the changes will be between v3.2 alpha 6 and the new version? The reason I ask is that I am in the process of installing a newer version of the forum, which involves installing a lot of mods. If I use v3.2 alpha 6 as a "base", would I be able to then add the changes between the final version and v3.2 alpha 6 relatively easily by doing compares between the files?

Thanks for the info guys! Maybe my best bet then is to stand by and wait for the final version(anxiously)!
Thanks for all the great work you guys do on the forum! You're right that a fully tested and debugged release is better than a rushed product.
