My version running is Snitz Forums 2000 Version 3.1 SR4.
Mods installed are:
Classifieds
Ban IP
Category Sorting
Avatar 2
Guestbook 2
Search For Members
I think a few others but i can't really remember.
Anyhow i think i am screwing up adding it to my topic file because of all the mods i've installed a few lines were changed from the directions in the poll one. I don't really get an error it just screws up the way my forum looks when they look at a topic.. Royally screws it up, I removed it but was hoping i could send someone my topic.asp that i still have altered and saved and they can have a look at that.

Some of these mods are harder to install than the others. And it's even harder when you have other mods installed. If you have a little patience with it, and with us, we can get it working for you.
If you still want the mod on your forum, you can still send me your topic.asp file and I'll add it in for you.

thanks very much it got further this time but i got an error when i tried to view a poll.
by the way do you have the pin.gif? It wasn't included in the zip by the originator of this mod.

Oops, you can just delete that extra tag <% from line 829. Don't delete the else but delete the opening asp tag.

LoL, I use Allaire Homesite, but you have to pay for that. There is a free html editor that you can use called Araneae. I heard it's pretty good.

yeah i have allaire also but no numbers show up... okay i think i deleted the right <% but now when i view any record, heres the error i get

i used the remove polls and re-did it and all tables still went in fine.

hey mistervb. I was in the middle of responding to your post when the forums went down. :-(
Anyways, on line 526, you should have a comma , after TOPICS.count8. Something like this:... & strTablePrefix & "TOPICS.count8," Don't know why there are so many silly mistakes in the file, when I just did a copy and paste from my file. hmmm
Anyways, for the numbers to show up in Homesite, you need to have the "gutter" On. There are some little buttons on the left hand side of the code screen, one of them is to turn the "gutter" on.

Yeah I know I wanted to scream when I saw the site went down. The reason theres so many errors is cause this thing wants to punish me. lol Heres the error i got after adding the comma

if it helps to see the error in action just goto http://mistervb.121host.net/Forum and click on the general forum then click on the topic with the poll... I removed the topic so if you want to see it in action with the error let me know.

richard PLEASE help!!
i just install your poll mod and when i put it on test the outcome was crazy i can't see my background no more, tables are gone, and other stuff now its driving me crazy i hate to start over  so can you please log in my account again and help me fix it i don't really know what i did wrong i follow the instructions please help me
