I came across this today.
If there is a problem, is there something I should be doing to minimise the risks?
My forum is using version 3.4.07 which is the one mentioned in the linked page.

I guess you didn't read all the report.

Solution:
The vendor has released a patch. Please see the references for details.

OK sorry about that, I just looked at the date at the bottom of the linked page, 2015-03-25 and assumed that this was an issue that had cropped up since I started using the software in 2013.

That's OK As far as we are aware, there are no current vulnerabilities.
