I have not received any emails from the forum if, for example, prospective members awaiting approval by me (Admin). In other words - email function does not work. By chance, I discovered that my hosting had .NET version 2.0 / 3.5 installed on my website. I was able to update to 4.0 / 4.5.
What version of .NET is required to gain access to such email function? |

Ok, so firstly, .Net has nothing to do with the forum or classic ASP, so it matters not what version you have installed.
What email settings to you have setup in forum admin ?
Also this sounds like a mod as the default forum does not send emails to the admin when people register, so have you installed the Mod correctly?
DO other forum email functions work? |

I do not have any mods at all (as far as I remeber today). I went back to a clean forum without mods about five years ago.
