From what I can see the code should cope with spaces in the username. Do you get an error ?

I don't get an error "message," it just comes back to the same page without accomplishing anything after I attempt to create a new category or upload a picture on any member's account that has spaces in his/her username.

Yes, it does create a directory for each of the members and a thumbnail subdirectory, too.

I tried placing an underscore in a member's username and also in her directory created by the photo album but nothing changed. . .nothing accomplished.

I tried removing the blank space in a different member's username and also in her photo album directory. And then. . .when on this member's account and I click to attempt to upload a picture, everything freezes.

I tried the same on yet another member's account and the same thing happens.

Praise God!

Thank you to all who looked at this for me.
