3.0.x I know something was posted here once before but I can't find it. Can you tell me what page and line I need to change to have Snitz lookup an IP address before I approve the member. Thank you... and I apologize if this subject was discussed before. Doing a search gives me an error on the site too. Time out.

I assume you are using a version prior to 3.4.06 (3.4.07 now uses a different system for checking an IP)

anyway, the fix for the old lookup not working is Here

MVC .net dev/test site | Snitz .NET Core running on Raspberry Pi

Thank you...but the SamSpade server must be down? I am using Snitz 3.4.07 and I located the url in the config file and it is correct but it won't launch even if I open a blank window and type a url into it so I assume it is a server issue on their end.

Hi All,

So it looks like samspade is now dead

What site is everybody using now to check the ip of pending members, and have you amended the code so your forum uses it yet ?

Thanks guys,

Pierre

I've used http://www.stopforumspam.com/ from time to time, but I haven't updated the code as I just don't do that many lookups.
