I have a problem.. when posting a topic I add '£' into the text, I preview the post and it's there but when I post the topic the pound sign is gone 
any Ideas??< |

Got a link and a test account? I've checked on a couple of my forums and don't seem to have any problems...
Also, did you change the LCID in config.asp and/or add any extra character encoding code?< |

Your forum does not have a test forum ?? BTW, both £ and Euro symbols are ok in this forum with IE7 browser codepage selection with encoding set to Western European(ISO).< |

Just as a test I put a £ sign in the badwords and its replacement to be !!
when looking at a preview it showed as !! but when posting to the forum it had the error "you must post a message"
have added a testing forum and checked IE
