Hi,

I've been contacted by our client to say that the entire contents for a subforum has been deleted.

I've checked the database, and there's no records in the FORUM_TOPICS table for that subforum ID number.

There's no notice of it being archived in the admin control panel.

Anyone have any ideas?

Is there anyway to view of a log of what admin have deleted? or a date when a topic was deleted?

There's only one admin setup for the forum, so my client would should know if it's been deleted.

Thanks...

what exactly do you mean by subforum? do you just mean forum, as Snitz does not support subforums.

also, some info would help.

What version of Snitz?
What database type ?

Apologies, yes, a forum.

Using v3.4.07.

And an access database.

Thanks.

unfortunately there is not much you can do with an access db as nothing is logged and it is unlikely you will be able to recover the data. You could try looking in the IIS weblogs if there are any, that may tell you if it was done via the forum or maybe some kind of hack
