My forum started out as a special interest group for owners of a RV camper made by an "out of business" bankrupt company. Multiple models were manufactured over a period of five years.

The bankrupt company's old manufacturing equipment was owned by the bank - which sold the equipment to a new owner - who restarted the company (a new company) using a similar name to the old company.

So now I have pre-bankrupt camper owners and new camper owners.
And the forum has morphed into both old style campers made by a bankrupt dead company and new style campers made discussions.

so. . . The question is:

Can a the existing forum be made into a "sub-forum" and a new forum be established for new owner/users?
And how would I do it?

I doubt it would be very easy, could you not simply create groups or categories to separate it out ?

Sounds like that's the best/easiest plan. Will think on it. Thanks.
