I have received an email from a member of my forum:
"I have registered for the forums but cannot trace the log in details. When I says I have forgotten stuff, it says email address not recognised but when I try and register again it says email adress in use."
I have downloaded the DB onto my PC and searched every field in FORUM_MEMBERS and FORUM_MEMBERS_PENDING but cannot find her email address anywhere.
I know I could temporarily turn off the requirement for a unique email address, but this is just a workaround and doesn't answer why on the one hand Snitz says there is no member with that email address, whilst on the other, saying that the address is already in use.
Can anyone point out something I'm missing. I've been scratching my head half the afternoon and I'm getting a little frustrated. |

well, if you have searched ALL the fields and can't find her email address then not much we can do about it, it could just be user error
Why do you think

You description of the problem does not indicate that at all, the description of the problem as given to us by you says

Not sure where this message comes from, if they have tried the forgotten password and entered the wrong username/password that is not the message they would get, so what are they actually doing ?
