Hi!

We are trying to shut down a forum in order to move the users to another new forum.

The old forum will continue to live on but only for the history, so how can I keep the login and allow only read in the old forum.

You can "lock" all categories, which will - if I'm not mistaking - render all topics and forums "read only".

Just go and lock all area's by clicking on the icon:

And do that to all the areas and that should stop all users except admins from being able to post.
