Hi guys, I want to be able to post a copy and paste of an excel sheet so it stay in the same format, I.e. all columns and rows stay so it can be read as posted.
When I try to do this, its almost impossible to get it to look right, is there a way I can do this? |

I don't think that will be very easy.
There was a reference to a table mod, somewhere, maybe that could help. The only other way would be to use [code] tags, but it's still a daunting task... |

Would it not be easier to upload the spreadsheet to your server and post a link to it?

yes, that is a possibility, how would I best do that? I would need to do it so if a member clicks on the link it will simply show as a open sheet and not download it. |

As far as I know, you can force a download, but you cannot force a viewing, as that depends on the user's browser settings. You just need to post the link to the pdf file. |

Hmmm, that would be a problem, as I am changing the sheet upto 10 times a day. |

Have a look at www.mrexcel.com they have a tool to paste spreadsheet data into a forum although it isn't Snitz. |

Then I think you should really use some sort of sharing service that will allow you to keep up to date versions. You can have some free space on Office Live Workspace or Google docs and post the link to that, and once you change the file, it will be immediately available from the same link.

Plus, using Google Docs (don't know about Office Live) would give you the added benefit of opening the file directly in the user's browser (no need for the user to have a copy of Excel). Also, people could sign up to be notified when changes are made to the spreadsheet.
