Hi I am recieving this error when I try to reply or edit my postings in my forum;
There has been a problem! There was an error = Object variable not set Go back to correct the problem.
This error doesn't happen when I 'create a new topic', it only happens when I reply to a previously posted topic or try to edit a topic I have already posted.
I would like to point out that the edits and reply's that I make, DO show in the forum, but it gives this error with each edit or reply to posting.
New install of Forum, same database Mods - 6in1 expansion, Avatar.
Thanking you in advance |

It seems to be working fine now, I don't know whats going on, as I was having this problem up until now. I created a test account so that you could log in and test it. I tried to re-created the error with the test login, and it seems to be working fine now. I was able to edit the forum and reply to the forum without a problem.
The problem seems to have solved itself.
Thank you anyway |

Further to my above posting, I have re-created the error. I had forgotten that I am also using Newsmod34v160.
When I put the 'news include' on the left side of Site Integration, I get the Object variable not set error, yet when I put the include in the right column of Site Integration the error is gone and all works fine.
I have nothing else in the left column of Site Integration.
Still needing help. |
