The server in which our forum sits on has been turned off.
I still have access to the server, however it is not available externally.
I have spend hours looking through and for the Root folder of the forum, so that it can placed onto another server, where staff can access it on a temprary basis.
I realise that root folder names can be altered when installing, but if I can find the default named folder, then I can move it accross with out losing and re-installing it.
Thanking you in anticipation!

StBen

Yes. Search for forum.asp or inc_header.asp and you should find the folder.

Once you move the folder to another server you may need to change the permissions on the folder, database, etc.

And if you're using Access for your database, make sure config.asp is pointing to the right location.

When you copy or move the database (or any file) the permissions may be altered. If you get an "operation must use an updateable query" error then you will need to give the mdb file read & write access (instead of just read-only).
