I am going down the list of bug fixes and would like to apply the code to my existing version 3.0.6 but you don't list what pages they all go in. Am I missing something? A readme or instructions somewhere else? Since I have many mods running it would be easier just to replace the code. For example what page is the "UpdateLastHereDate" fix applied too? Thanks in advance and for a great product too. |

Thank you guys; all your hard work is appreciated. Davio, I read the list before posting but I couldn't find where some of the code was at, in which page; they weren't listed. I am trying to update them all by going over each page line by line but I am running into errors because of the included mods. If I could see the changes it would make updating my pages so much easier. Thank you again. Ruirib, thank you for informing me where the function was located and that was my point. It may seem obvious based on its name but until you find these changes you have a day or two wasted. Thanks again. |

mkervin,
You need to find yourself a decent editor. EditPlus will search for a string in a folder and subfolders, so for me it takes just a little to find the function location... |

There have been a few topics over the last couple years that name a number of tools that make it easier - comparison utilities like BeyondCompare and WinMerge; text editors like EditPlus and Notepad++.
In the end, the minute you start with the first couple of changes, all the line numbers are going to be off anyway. There will never be a good "line-by-line" set of instructions past the first MOD/patch. |

Thanks I will give it a look. I did get all the files done with the exception of the one mentioned above I don't know where it is but I will do a find replace site wide. Thanks again. We look like we are good to go... Thank everyone for their hard work on this project too; it is appreciated. |

Thank you modifichicci winmerge worked great. The upgrade went pretty well and eventhough winmerge is showing me all the pages are the same I am having just one or two little problems with mods. I had one problem with a New field that was added in Setup it didn't place a value in it so the code broke until I stopped the forum and ran an update query to place the value of 1 in it. I will have to check my notes to see which field it was but it was in the Members page that I am sure. Thanks again to everyone that worked on this upgrade; I for one REALLY appreciate it.
Davio, I need a little help with Poll Mod; it doesn't display the choices and I can't find why that is. No errors and nothing breaks. Also, no featured polls are availavble to set and I can't find an issue there either. I am still looking and it will work eventually. I promise. |

Thanks HuwR, I figured out the problem before reading the thread in the link above and ran an update query on my db and it worked fine.
Now if I can only get the poll mod to display the choices I will be gin. |
