I used to have snitz 3406 with ipgate 243 b2, and they have been working together smoothly.
Yesterday I updated my snitz to 3407, it runs fine. But I got a display problem when I mounted the latest ipgate 244. All the chinese become unrecognizable while english shows correctly on my forums.
After all the possible tries I can think of to solve the problem, I noticed this file "inc_ipgate.asp.old" in the same folder as "inc_ipgate.asp", so I replaced the new one with the old version. As you can imagine, the problem is gone.
Now I wanna know if it's the right way to deal with this problem, or it's just a makeshift, will it compromise the performance and security of my forums. Thank you! |

| It's the format of the saved file. Original file is in UTF-8 and "normal" forums won't display properly, but if you need Unicode support, the file format must be UTF-8. |

IPGate 243 displays correctly.

But IPGate 244 displays incorrectly even from the very beginning on a clean snitz 3407. |
