I have a snitz forum with a MySQL database and when I try to search for anything the script takes a while to think (180 seconds which is my timeout for ASP) and then gives the ASP timeout error.
Any way to fix this so search can work?
Database size - 12MB

Have you installed the forum directly in mysql or have you migrated from access?
If you migrated probably you have not the right indexes and default value in your db.

And i hope your forum isn'that in your profile, as it seems not a snitz...

Your file did the trick and it works and it's much faster than I ever seen snitz work.
