I just ran it again and got the same exact errors. I emailed you before I posted here.

Can you make sure the start of the script was copied properly?

I think I just got it to work!

It was the database name! I looked at one of my other T-SQL scripts and it was configured they way I was asking earlier: clientX_dbname.

I can still send you the stored procedure, but I haven't received the email yet.

The use statement doesn't even need to be there.

Oh man, did I almost just have a major heart attack there!

Yeah, the way I log in to my Studio, I don't log in to one particular database because I'm always working with several. So MS Studio asks me when I run a t-script, or I just execute the start with the db name. I am also working on trying to unarchive ALL my archives and have been running t-scripts for it, as shown here.

As you can probably tell, I'm still learning!

Now what is this stored procedure? Where does it actually get stored?

Sorry for freaking out!

I need to find an an easy way to backup that database...

The stored procedure gets stored in the database. You can then just run the stored proc to update the counts.

So I can just create a link in say the admin section to initiate it? That sounds good.

I think I'll hold off on the stored procedure for now. The t-sql is working fine and doesn't take that much more time to run it. I really do appreciate all your help on this, rui!

I am left with one issue though. One of my archived forums won't release the archive folder image I think because of the problem I had with trying to run the Archive One Topic MOD 1.0a mod without certain tables created. As soon as I get this rectified, I think I'll be back in business.

Well the stored procedure shouldn't be faster, it's just a more convenient way, as it's stored in the database itself.

Glad you got that one working.
