Most likely the result of cookies being blocked. In IE, go to Tools/Internet Options, Privacy, & click on the "Advanced" button. Set the browser to allow cookies.<

check what you have cookie mode set to in your admin options.

You will also need to ensure that your domain is actually pointing at your website correctly rather than using some kind of masked redirect.<

You can try and add a compact privacy policy, likely it will help: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=57136#312084<

My users were experiencing the same problem as my forum is hosted on differnt URL to the named one using "Framed web-forwarding".

The compact privacy policy solved the problem.

IF this is the problem, does that mean, other browsers allow such thing since marcomax only can't get it with IE?

IF so, that means, other browsers are insecure about such cross-domain cookies... Sad...

Other browsers (well, Firefox at least) allow you to specify in your settings whether or not you want to accept cookies from 3rd parties. If you prefer not to accept cookies from all third party sites, you can instead "whitelist" some sites.

Search is your friend

taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.”

And by default, is it ON?

I can't rightly remember - been using FF for so long, I've long forgotten what any of the defaults are - but I think it is.
