Anyone find out how to read nested groups yet? ASP only lets me get the groups the user is in not anything nested.
Example user is in group A. But group D has group A,B and c in it.
Since there can be so many groups and the current NT code has a limit. it would be nice to just say allow group D :-)

Just a FYI i might have nest groups working!
I have a asp page now i am testing that will tell me if the NT user is in a nested group or not. and its nice and fast.
And using only ASP code. working with Tokengroups and Groups SID's and not CN and group names!
The normal look up from a group to sid i think is to slow and i think alot of people dropped development in this direction. However there is no reason we cant use the sid where we put the NT groups now.
Got a little vbscript you can run and get the sid of a group and then just place into forum access.
Woohoo might work
going to play with it a couple more days! < |

I would like to have it Kal. I just don't know much about NT at the moment, but later on, I would like to learn from your code! < |

It would be GREAT to have your code up here for others to search and find - not that many orgs seem to be using Snitz with NT Authentication, so it's an under-supported area of the functionality - any tips you have will certainly be of value for future searchers!< |
