So we have a Snitz 3.4.06 forum set up for NT Auth on an intranet.
Logging on to the site is fine, it ealuates against the NT ID stored in M_USERNAME and displays the value in M_NAME for logged in status and post labels.
When a user goes to post, it throws a "There was a problem: Username or password is not correct" message.
It appears that on posting/editing, the app validates the NT ID against the M_NAME column rather than the M_USERNAME column. So, if the NT ID is not used as a displayname, a user or mod/admin cannot post or edit.
Updating the M_NAME field to the values of the M_USERNAME field remedied the problem in lieu of making modifications to the code.
Can anyone confirm this issue?< |
