Ok, it seems the table was created in the dbo schema. What's the schema for the forum tables?<

Schema for the forum tables is "rwebster". So I'm starting to understand this now... .

Just to make sure I'm doing this right, would you mind telling me what to do next?

So the rwebster schema should actually be the default schema for your user. Set it and it all should work...<

Sorry for being ignorant, but the "schema" deal is really new to me.
What is it that I'm supposed to "set"?
Again, sorry for my ignorance!

You will need to right click the user in the security folder for the server, choose properties and then get to the screen where you can set the default schema. It's shown on the right side of the screen, when you choose the 2nd option at the left (which I can't remember the name).<

Found it. I've tried setting the default schema to "rwebster" (I even tried dbo, and db_owner), but I keep getting this error in SQL:
"user, group or role 'rwebster' already exists in the current database". <-- no kidding. ;)

I feel like a real idiot (which you're probably agreeing with me, at this point). I'm sorry for being so dense about this.

Ok, seems like the default schema is already rwebster, so either the info you gave is not correct, or I'm missing something... Can you email me the SQL Server access data so that I can login and have a look?<

Rui - you're the best!!!

Just so everyone knows... The fix to this was to set the forum table's schema to dbo. That fixed it, and Rui is awesome!

thanks everyone - you guys have always been most helpful.
