This may be obvious to some, but I would like some clarification.

When posting an event there is a Recurring option. I'm not completly sure of what they do. I've listed my quesses below. Please correct me if I am mistaken on any of them.

1. Everyday - Not really sure what this does.
2. Every other day - Not sure about this either
3. Every week - I guess it shows the event every week?
4. Every other week - I guess is shows the event every other week?
5. Every month - I guess it shows the event every month?
6. Every year - I assume it shows the event each year?
7. Mon, Wed, & Fri - It shows the event every Mon, Wed, and Fri?
8. Tue, Thurs - It shows the event every Tuesday and Thurday?
9. Mon - Fri - It shows the eveny every Monday thru Friday?
10. Sat, Sun - It shows the event every Sat and Sun?

Why is there not a No recurring option?

1. The Event should show up everyday for the time period you selected.
2. Every other day is mainly saying it will show up the 1st 3rd 5th and so on till time period is up.

The rest of them look right to me on what you are thinking.

If you select a day that the event is on and the ending date is the same it won't matter anyways cause the start and end date are the same. So No recurring really wouldn't do anything.

I'm a little lost still as to how to input the date if I set it to Every Year. I want to input a birthday of a famous person and have it appear every year on that date. Do I set the date to start and end on that day or do I set the end date to years into the future?

You set it how every many years to the future you want to show it for.

Thanks. I now have an issue with that. By setting the birthday date into the future so that it appears every year automatically, it lists each year. See below:

Is there anyway to have the birthday recurring every year automatically without it showing each year?

I believe there is a b-day add on that will pull from the db their b-day. You may be looking for this. Or at least this would get your started on your own.

I am not sure as I haven't used that like this before.

Where exactly is this showing up?

I saw the birthday add on but it is for an older version and I do not know how to make it work for the newer snitz code.

It shows up on the Event Topic. The screen shot I have above is taken from that.

Hmm I thought the b-day add on works for the new version.

Is there a way to add an Event which occurs on every second Tuesday of each month?

Add the red. Haven't tested this as I don't have the mod installed.
cal_post.asp line 116

    Response.Write  "<option value=""16"">Mon - Fri</option>"
    Response.Write  "<option value=""17"">Sat & Sun</option>"
    Response.Write  "<option value=""18"">Second Tues of the month</option>"

    Response.Write  "               </select></td>" & _

cal_post_info1.asp line 111

            Case 17  'Sat & Sun
                Do
                    dateCursor = DateAdd("d", 1, dateCursor)
                Loop Until Weekday(dateCursor) = vbSaturday or Weekday(dateCursor) = vbSunday
            Case 18 'Second Tues of the month
                dateCursor = DateAdd("d", 7, DateAdd("m", 1, dateCursor))
                Do
                    dateCursor = DateAdd("d", 1, dateCursor)
                Loop Until Weekday(dateCursor) = vbTuesday
        End Select
    Loop Until dateCursor > Event_End

There is an add on mod for the calendar called Greg's Additional Recurring Options & Floating Holidays. It does exactly that. http://www.snitzbitz.com/mods/details.asp?Version=All&mid=66
