However, we cannot see the member information prior to approving membership. Is there a mod setup to receive an email with the registration information prior to approving members?
I didn't have any problem installing it! it is straight forward. With this MOD you don't get an e-mail, but you can view the member's information in the "members waiting for approval" page. And this is by clicking on the username, if I remember correctly.
designgoddess i have set my forum up to email me the details of the registration and will gladly show you what i done if you email me. i done this as i read email more than I do the forum. the details still go in members pending etc but at least you have full details and a prompt to log on.
I think I'd seen where it was posted somewhere around here, but not as its own topic. I'd encourage you to post it as a "how to" and/or add it as a MiniMOD to SnitzBitz.
i downloaded pending profile mod but i am not sure if it will work with the new version as it asks for replacing pop_profile_pending.asp ....... with new version theres only pop_profile.asp. can u guyz pls advise ...
pop_profile_pending.asp is a new file in the MOD. The editing is in admin_accounts_pending.asp. It should work with new as well old versions. No editing is needed in pop_profile.asp.
