you are running snitz 3.4.04...you shoudl upgrade to the latest and apply the security fixs as there have been some security issues since your version |

You should also subscribe to the bug forums cause anytime there are security fixes you will me notified and be able to stop these hacks before they happen.  |

the forum loads for a bout 5 seconds and then it redirects to another site. any idea what page was edited to redirect to another site? |

You've likely got an iframe in one of your forum descriptions. These links have information regarding the most recent security fix. In addition, as MaD2ko0l said, you really need to upgrade to the latest version of Snitz. Old versions are likely to have security holes in them. |

whomever did this gained admin access, set the board to allow html, and then put the meta tag in the forum header description. working on applying patches now. thank you. |

Also make sure you change the hacker back to a regular user and lock their account. |

i want to upgrade my forums to the most recent but have MODS installed. am i looking at having to reinstall all my mods to update? thanks, |

Yes you will need to reinstall the mods if you download a freash copy of the Forums and install that way. but you can also go through all the security updates and apply each on individually that way you woudln't have to reinstall the mods.
Really you will want to see how many mods you have to install or how long it will take to apply all the fixes. If the fixes is going to take longer than the mods start with a fresh copy and apply your mods if not go the other way around.  |
