I have just installed snitz and when I send emails from the application they are received in my bulk folder in Yahoo. When I use the web-based email provided by the hosting company or MS Outlook the emails are delivered to the inbox.
I've tried every connection I can think of from SMTP to CDOSYS and can't find the right combination. I know that the outlook I setup required the username and password for the connection if that helps. Almost forgot, I am using webhost4life.com as my hosting company.
How can I get past this??? Any help would be appreciated.
That doesn't depend on how you send the email, probably they are filtering based on content or something. You will need to add the sender's email address to the safe senders list, or similar.
Again, this needs to be sorted from the Yahoo side, not the forum side.
I know this sounds crazy but I sent the exact same email, subject line, contents, everything from my outlook and it works perfectly. It works consistently correctly when the mail originates from my outlook or the hosting company's web mail but not when I sent from snitz.
I got the issues resolved! I had to put the name of the mail server which was able to send emails to my yahoo account without them being placed in the bulk folder (the one which was in the header for emails sent from outlook). Once I did that things worked beautifully!!!
