I have my forum www.forumsuperstars.com but its called laddiesforum, so I have bought the domain www.laddiesforum.com and mirrored the new domain to the old one and all is working fine.
Now my problem is when a new member joins the forum with the url www.laddiesforum.com they can join and browse the forum but once they log off they can’t get back on, I have to then tell them to use the forumsuperstars url and they can log on with no problems.
Not having much experience with web sites I am guessing this is a cookie problem, but what’s the best way to overcome this?

Yeah the new domain is just mirrored to forumsuperstars, so I have only one DB and code. |

Well you can't create cookies for two different domains with the same code, that's why you have the issues you're facing. Not sure whether a compact privacy policy will help, but I doubt it. |

Hmm, So as my forum is called laddiesforum, it looks like I will have to change the URL, to laddiesforum.com, what do I have to change (as far as forum code is concerned) if I get my hosting company to change the main domain from forumsuperstars to laddiesforum? I guess the email would be one, but would they be anything else I would have to change? |
