I finally got Snitz uploaded and functional last night. After playing with the settings a bit, I realized I'd set the wrong email addressses associated with the main and secondary administrators. When I tried to fix this, it send a link to the corresponding that went nowhere. I realized there was something I didn't adjust but I have no idea where to look to make the adjustments so that the links go back to the forums (as when I was accepted here and told me to follow a link to complete the registration process.)

Which file is this link information located so that I might be able to redirect it where it belongs?

Second question:

My website has a banner attached to it and I'd like to continue that with these forums to ensure continuity. How do I move the logo to the lower left corner of the screen (or move it either above or below a banner) and place a banner at the top?

Thanks in advance!

1. You could use a small DBS Script (search and you'll find a guide to the syntax) and the Alt. MOD Setup to change the e-mail addresses in the database directly. Make a backup before you try it.

2. Search for the "Site Integration MOD" - that will let you put whatever you want on the top of the forum pages.

I'll try to post more details when I get home... if I remember.

You can fix the link in the email messages by inserting the correct value for forumURL in Admin Options->Main Forum Config.

That didn't solve the problem of this message coming through:

This sends the receiver of the message to some random domain selling site and not back to the original forums as it's intended.

Where do I find this so that I can insert the correct website information?

Did you set the forum URL where I told you to? What value did you specify?

Ah, I misunderstood the first part and thought it was being sent to an incorrect e-mail address. If you follow Rui's advice you'll get it sorted.

As to the second part, various people have created "extensions" (for want of a better word) - around here you'll see them referred to as "MODs" or "modifications". One of these MODs is the "Site Integration MOD" I mentioned earlier. It was designed to give you some space at any or all of the borders around the forum to help you tie it in to the rest of the site's design. You can see it in action at www.eastoverfd.com and www.jesusjoshua2415.com (full disclosure: I built/maintain both sites)

I've looked over this site and don't see any modifications to what I'm looking for. Is this something I'd find on the general web or something specifically designed for Snitz forums?

The site integration mod I mentioned will let you add a banner to the top of the page.

Yes, I understood what you said about the site integration mods, but I don't know where to find an integration mod so that I could modify my forum settings.

I have searched this site for a banner type modification and I did not see anything.

Where do I find this modification code?
