After much frustration, I think I found my problem. As I am attempting to use Snitz Forum on the new Microsoft Home Server (Beta) the server itself uses a Distributed File System across multiple hard drives. The setup of websites is done at the server console using a Add-in to the console for managing websites and links from the main home page of the server.
The main problem is the c:\ drive is partitioned to 20gig by default, and I believe cannot be changed. The rest of the storage is setup on a DFS. Given the size that the database could grow, I cannot place it on the C:\ drive. So after creating the website, It only directs to the folder that the website itself is on. If I try to place a path in the DB location line in config.asp file, the root starts where the forum files are. I'm running almost 1.5 TB across five hard drives, so I have plenty of room for growth on the DFS.
When the DB is in the website folder, the forum works perfect. Any attempt to change the location in the config.asp file causes an error (Cant find Database)
As I am beta testing the server software, this could be an issue when the Home Server is released to the public. At least for idiots such as myself who like to experiment with things.
Any help on this issue would be much appreciated.

| Why can't you keep the database in c:\? 20 GB is a lot of space and I know several forums, very busy, that after a few years, with many posts per day, have yet to reach a 1 GB database size. |

Works like a dream guys, thanks for the help. After moving the DB to "C:\InetPub\db\forum_01.mdb" and directing the pointer in config.asp the forum came up like a dream.
