i'd like to post into a topic a guide for using the forum code.

is there any chance to post the forum code whithout having it (the code itself) "processed"?

i.e.
may i write (with the "[" and "]")
{img}dkjdkdkhdjhejf.gif{/img}

and read exactly what i wrote (instead of the pic)?

Split the tags up with other, empty tags. For example:

[img]URL[/img]

Will give you:

there is also a MOD around somewhere which will allow you to do what you need.

By the way, forgot to say, your forum's FAQ covers the posting of images.

very useful thanks.

i manage a multi-language forum (16+ different languages) so i let moderators to translate my guide-posts with their followups (this is the reason i need an in-forum guide, instead of the FAQ only).

thanks, again.

for any other suggestion, or simply for a visit, this is my snitz: www.erosramazzotti.tv/forum

You could use the FAQ Admin MOD to expand the FAQ to include multiple sections for the various languages. I'd swear there is a newer version floating around, but I couldn't find it just this minute... It's probably up on OneWayMule's site (there's a link to it in the topic I just linked to).
