I am trying to install Snitz on a system to which I have FTP access, but not admin access. The creation of the DB tables in the install initially appears to times out, but when I go back to the install screen, it tells me everything looks good to go. However, when I go to the forum page by clicking on the link, I get:
ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd'
Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record.

This, from reading other threads, appears to be a permission-based issue, but I'm not sure how to resolve it. The database is MS SQL server 7.0: are there any tests I can do to find out the problem, or what should I tell the admin needs to be done to get the forum working? |
