Besides the port number, which you wrote you already added to inc_mail.asp, I see no other differences. I think you should save a backup copy of inc_mail.asp, replace the CDOSYS part by the host provided code and test it. Then add each of the Snitz variables (strRecepients, strSender, etc) and test after adding each single one. Like that you will be able to find out what is causing you the problem.

Did some more tests.

A subscriber has received and email! Hurraah.

As admin, I can go to the member list select a member and send them an email. It does arrive.

However, the registration process still does not produce an email to the registrant after I have approved the registration.

Any ideas?

Thanks

How are you approving the member? You cannot choose activate account, if you want the member to get the email.

Yes, I am choosing activate account - it kind of implies that the account will receive an email, but I guess I am wrong. Is there another way they can get the email, if not I can always send it manually I guess.

On another subject, is there a way to upload an image with a post - I know it probably isn't part of this area so if you don't know I'll create a new post.

Thanks for your assistance.

Jerry

Activate account will immediately activate the account, so no email will be sent. Choose Approve All Pending Members or Approve Selected Pendng Members instead.

There are mods to upload images (Mike's, Proeder's). Try a search in the Mod W/Code forum or visit snitzbitz.com. If you have questions about the upload mods, do start another thread.
