Hi all
Having an annoyint issue whereby i have 2 forums running in my 1 and 1 account, they are being pointed at by different domains, they are in different folders and then sub folders of /forum and /forums.

I have changed the:
strCookieURL = "/forums/"
strUniqueID = "Snitz04"

and

strCookieURL = "/forum/"
strUniqueID = "Snitz01"

in the other

however it seems that the 2 forums are still sharing data, one picks up the other's application pool settings and vice-versa, depending on which i last ran setup.asp.

it seems almost like even though 1and1 say that the folders are set up as seperate application pools, that the forums are either reading from some sort of master pool, outside their own pool, or that the pools arent actually implemented at all on the server.

and yes i have read the other couple of posts on this but to no avail. Please dont make me call 1and1!!!!!!!!! their tech support sucks big-time.

any ideas?

If they are using the same database are both config.asp files edited to use different prefixes ?
strTablePrefix = "FORUM_"
strMemberTablePrefix = "FORUM_"
strFilterTablePrefix = "FORUM_" 'used for BADWORDS and NAMEFILTER tables

Did you run setup.asp after those changes to the strCookieURL values? That should definitely have fixed the issue.
