Hello everyone,

I've been using the forum for a while now, about 4 years. I have updated them to the last version and it worked perfectly.

Today I was trying to enter the forum and I keep getting this message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000e'

Out of string space

/forum/inc_header.asp, line 234

I get it when trying to enter default.asp or active.asp. I've been searching through all the related topics, but I haven't been able to figure out what is wrong.

I changed nothing and it was working perfectly. I have even tried to rewrite all the files with the ones provided in this web site, all of them but config.asp. No solution anyway.

Could you please give a hand?

sounds like the server may need resetting, I can honestly say I don't ever remember coming across that error before.

Buggy RAM or sharing a box with a poorly-written app?

Are you able to get the host to bounce the box, see if it's solved? If not, frankly I'd look for a different host

It got solved! Just as it finished working, it started again this morning. I guess it had something to do with my server (brinkster.com).
