Hi,
We are going to backup the forum to another server each night. Right now we are doing it manually, and I'm shutting down the database (access) via the admin menu before we copy the files over. If we want to schedule in this task, does anybody know of a way it can be done, or would stopping IIS on the server (Windows 2003) be enough to ensure the backup is OK?

Or should I not simply worry and copy when its up ?

Rgds in advance,

Pierre

I wouldn't worry, you should be able to just copy the db even with the forum up and running.
