Ok, I am still having the same issue with no resolution as I have posted above. I still believe that it is something in the code that I am missing. With that being said, I have stupid question. In the following code what does the 2 reference. Also is the ‘cdoSendUsingPort commented out??

Flds("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2 'cdoSendUsingPort

The sendusing value of 2 means that it should connect to the specified network email server. Otherwise a value of 1 would mean to use the SMTP service on the same machine assuming one was installed.

Ok, I have been working on this issue still as I have time with no success. I have discovered a few interesting things though.

First, in the CDOSYS code if I remove the username it still sends e-mail to my local account on my e-mail server. This means that it is not using the username and password that I have specified. This could very well be why my e-mails are not getting to the outside world. Any ideas on how to make it use that username and password?

Second, if your server requires TLS to be enabled does that have to be added to the CDOSYS code as well. If so, what would be the syntax for that?
