Hi, i use snitz forum in a global program where people are posting from over 90 countries. there is no palestine in the list - this is causing real problems. could anyone help with how we can change the country list configuration?

Thanks!

Last time I heard, Palestine was not a country. Anyway, if you still want to use it as if it was, just add it to inc_countrylist.asp.

Just after this line:

" <option value=""Pakistan"">Pakistan</option>" & vbNewLine & _

add

" <option value=""Palestine"">Palestine</option>" & vbNewLine & _

Now that's not fair - there's no "Edited By" when an admin edits....

thanks for the replies - a bit more of a problem - when i go to inc_countrylist.asp it shows a list of the countries but doesn't allow me to edit - is there anyway to access that in editable form?

Thanks,

May

Use an editor, like Notepad, for example and open the file with it.

You need to download the file to your computer, modify it with Notepad, then upload it again (don't rename it, obviously, and keep a backup)

How did you download it? FTP is, usually, the easiest way to do it...
