Dear Reinhold,
My first reason to send you this mail was to thank you for the great piece of software that the Snitz forum is. The installation was simple but effective and i am most pleased with the results i am getting.
The second is a question about the way user have to log in the forum. Our corporate intranet also involves several log in scripts, but the are all made to work in such a way that a user has to log in only once. On a succesfull login three session variables are created and these are used by all of the applications. I find it is a great disadvantage that forum user have to register and fill in a password everytime they use the forum. I would like te integrate the login procedure with the existing one. The best way to do this in our case, is to import the preferences columns that Snitz uses and configure the Forum in such a way that it uses the existing Session variables as reference.
My question is: Is there documentation available that describes this problem, or are you capable of providing me with the necessary information to combine these two login procedures ?
Best regards,
Martijn Bronkhorst
