Hi all,
I m an amateur as far as web-programming and snitz is concerned. Recently i downloaded snitz_forum_2000 and I want to change its look ( theme ).
-> Do i need to go through each and every file of snitz to do so?
-> Can someone just list down the files that can be manipulated to changes its look completely e.g color, position of various components etc. ?
-> Does any documentation exist for snitz?
-> Suppose i design a page in Frontpage and now I want snitz to use the html code of this page (as a theme ) then hw should i proceed? Can html code be directly converted (by some tool ) to asp and then can i just copy it in some of the snitz files to give it (snitz) the look of that page ( designed in frontpage) ?

Thnks in advance,

Deepak

Deepak,

The current version of Snitz does not support 'themes' in terms of exchangable components. The layout is hardcoded, and the CSS is driven by the color/fonts defined in the database.
So, yes, in order to change the layout of the site, you need to change several ASP files.
The most important ones are inc_header.asp (the header) and inc_footer.asp.
If you use the 'Site Integration' mod, you can incorporate your forum in a other design more easily.
If you search for those keywords (Site Integration) you'll find that mod.
The next version of Snitz, or rather the first version of Snitz .NET will support themes.
