The board I inherited is used to post IT business disruptions. The post/replies then send an e-mail to subscribers. We also have it on ou rIntranet to view real-time disruption information. There is occasionally a need to post the same message to several different forums.
Is there a way to compose a message, for example "A network issue is affecting application x, y, z and printing." Then post that message to the forum that is set up for each application, as well as the "printing" forum? We would like to do this without copy/pasting 5 times.
Thanks

Not without a code change... I see no big difficulties in doing it with a code change...

Certainly a code change - generally, cross-posting is discouraged for forums, but if you do make a mod to allow cross-posting, could you post it up to this site so others may use it in the future if they want to? I'm sure you'll get a lot of support here if you run into problems whilst trying to extend the product!

Thx :)

Hmm ... Doesn't one of the announcements mods allow you to select which forum(s) to display an announcement in?

Search is your friend
