| I have a link from one of my pages to the forum. The classic click "here" with the link. I have that link directed to mysite.com/forum/default.asp when I click on the link, it ALWAYS redirects me to my home page, however EVERY time I go back to the page with the link and click it a second time it goes to the correct page? I have looked through the forums but to be honest I don't even know where to start with a search. The url is entered correctly for the link and the second time you click it always works. Any suggestions?? |

Perhaps one of the smarter folks here could answer - is it likely to be a session/cookie thing? |

| That seemed to work...changing to login.asp?... Thanks for the help. Our customers will be using the link so I want to make it as simple as possible for them. Thank you everyone for your help. Still do not know what was causing it, but a solution is a solution! |

| Even a blind hen sometimes finds a grain of corn ;-> It would however be interesting to understand why it did not work and is there some kind of disadvantage to change - what happens if you already are logged in? |

Have a look at your logs, it may throw some light on why the redirect is occurring.
