Hi guys. I'm the site admin for my forum and me and the site owner and one of his "tech guys" are considering upgrading the entire site. With doing this, we were wanting to switch to a different forum platform, say for instance, phpBB or the likes. How hard is it to move threads and user accounts from a Snitz2000 forum to a php-based forum? Or is it even possible at all? I sure appreciate your help. Thanks.

I would probably ask over at the phpBB forums if this is possible and what it takes this would be something they would be able to support.

Awesome I'll do that. If anybody else on here has something to add, by all means do so. I need to figure this out pretty soon. Thanks Jeff.

Then there is the password encryption that you need to consider.. You can not revert the passwords back to plain text due to the encryption with out setting them to a default password and making the user change it, which would then give other users the ability to logon as another user and start to use that account..

Cheers,

Your site is in breach of the Snitz forum Licence, don't bother asking for help until you reinstate the powered by Snitz link as required by the licence.
