I want to add a forum to a website that I'm creating. I downloaded the current version v3.4.xx. What is my next step? I am new to this and the person who is assisting me doesn't know either. We are using Dreamweaver if that makes any difference.

Thanks for the help.

There is a readme in the package you downloaded. Go through that it will walk you through what you need to do step by step. Also dreamweaver won't do much cause you will have to edit the lines in text anyways. So dreamweaver or a good text editor with line numbers will work as well. I use araneae if you are going to look for one it is free. Hope this helps

Didn't mean to imply you couldn't use Dreamweaver cause I use it all the time. Just meant that a text editor would work just as good.

I know what you meant, I just didn't want there to be any misunderstandings. I've seen some people draw some wild conclusions out of simple posts.

Jeff and AnonJr do you know if dreamweaver can support fonts other than English, such as Chinese or ARabic for example? I am thinking of buying if it does support other fonts. Something like this:

<A href="http://www.myforum.com/pop_profile.asp?mode=Edit">ÇáÈÑæÝÇíá</A>

if you do encoding arabic windows, you will see the word after =Edit">

I couldn't swear to it, but I'd be surprised if it didn't given that they market to an international audience and all. Have you tried searching their site? I remember it wasn't too hard to dig around before Adobe got a hold of them....

Yes, I did look at their website some time but I really didn't notice anything that says it supports arabic fonts. I will look into carefully.
Thanks
