Hi Folks,

We had a web designer build a site for us that includes a Snitz forum. We are not live yet, but are on the way. We are quite pleased with what we have. One component of the site is a Snitz forum. I have a good idea how to change topics and forums and add moderators.

What I was hoping is that someone could tell me if I can change the word "Forum" in the top color bar to a title of my choice? If so, which .asp page would I edit NOT using my Frontpage, but an editor. While we have our Society logo on the top left of the page, it would be nice to have a better name other than "Forum"

Can a bonehead newbie like me do this?

Thanks for any help!

Robert

if you could perhaps explain a little better we may be able to help.

1) which "top colour bar" are you talking about ?
2) on which page does it appear ?
etc etc

At a guess, try changing the value of "Forum's Title" in your main forum configuration.

Search is your friend

fact that the mad priest lady from over the river had
taken to nailing weasels to my front door again.”

Gentlemen,

Thank You for the replies. As luck would have it I had to have the forum removed, along with all the site files, from the server as we had the files brought up with both FTP and Frontpage publish which caused some problems. It should be back up and configured tonight. I will look to the config suggestion and if that proves unsuccessful. If not I will come back with a more detailed post and link. Outstanding support here, thank you! I will do my part per the suggestions outlined in the stickies. I think this is going to be a poplular and growing forum, so you may see more of me. Thanks!!!

Robert
