Lately I have been having some "issues". Anyway, I've now just discovered that the forum title image on the FAQ page where it tells a user how to use the images tag is suddenly only 15x15. It's supposed to be bigger than that. I don't know why it is shrinking down to that size.

The only thing I did recently in the inc_iconfiles.asp file was add a line for the Split Topic MOD. What did I do now?

Double check the code changes? I think the function in inc_iconfiles.asp is used to display the image, but don't quote me on it.... I'm a little fuzzy at this point in the night.

Here is a copy of my inc_iconfiles.asp file. I don't see anything wrong with it. What other file may be affecting the image size?

Nothing immediately jumps out at me... did you double-check the other changes? Also, is it just on the FAQ page that this is happening?

It only appears on the FAQ page. My forum does not use a title image normally. But on the FAQ page, there are instructions telling a user how to create a hyperlink to an image. In those instructions, it shows the forums title image as an example. My image in that location is showing itself to be 15x15 instead of its regular size of 220x110.

It wasn't like that a few days ago. The only changes I have made recently were to the inc_iconfiles.asp, post.asp and topic.asp. I don't think the latter two files have anything to do with the FAQ page do they?

It's not a big problem, just wondering why it is being shrunk to the size of a smilie...

Got me stumped... last I checked, that part of the FAQ was hard-coded so unless the actual image size had been changed, it should show up as is.

Here is the line that refers to the title image:

<a href=""" & strForumURL & """ target=""_blank"">" & getCurrentIcon(strTitleImage & "||","","") & "</a>" & vbNewLine & _

Does anything look wrong? Where in the code would be making it appear as 15 x 15 instead of its real size?

Nothing looks out of sorts there to me from what I remember when editing that line. But I don't have a base install to look at right now either. Have you checked your icon that you uploaded and made sure that hasn't changes on accident. It will usually show what the images actual size is?

I think it is strange. Here is the actual image located at http://www.mangionemagic.com/forum/images/mangioneforum.gif

However, on my FAQ page, it looks like this (click the link below and scroll down to the bottom of that section where it shows how to make a clickable image).

Click here.

I just thought of something...

I removed the image from my inc_header.asp page. Could that be the problem?

Do you mean the image I posted above appears normal to you? It's not 15x15? That's really weird. Why would it appear that way to me? See below:

Double check the faq.asp page, because this is what's being outputted:

<blockquote>
                       <i>This Example:</i><br />
                       <b></b><br />
                       <i>Outputs This:</i><br />
                       <a href="http://www.mangionemagic.com/forum/" target="_blank"><img src="images/mangioneforum.gif" width="15" height="15" border="0" alt="" title="" /></a>

                </blockquote>

Also look and see if for some strange reason you have two functions with the same name... just a wild thought.

Here is a copy of my faq.asp page (in .txt format).

Here is how the line you found looks in the .asp file:

<a href=""" & strForumURL & """ target=""_blank"">" & getCurrentIcon(strTitleImage & "||","","") & "</a>" & vbNewLine & _

Note that this is not the original faq.asp file. It is the faq.asp file that came with the FAQ Administration MOD.

Very odd... I've got the exact same code in the exact same MOD, but not a problem at all... http://www.jesusjoshua2415.com/faq.asp

did you check and see if there was a second getCurrentIcon() function floating around? something that got added somewhere else by another MOD?
