i do not think so! the only thing i did recently was turn off the feature that requires email confirmation when you register.

Well, unfortunately there isn't much that you can do about that. That's a server error, usually indicating, IMO, that the server cannot handle the load related to Access DBs. If you have the option to migrate to MySQL or SQL Server, than do. Otherwise make sure you use an OLE DB connection string (one of those with "Jet OLEDB" in config.asp) and contact your host.

Unspecified errors have proved, as far as we can tell for the previous situations where users asked for help on it, hard to sort out. A server or IIS reset may help, but you're bound to see it again, until you upgrade to MySQL or SQL Server.
