Can I set a Moderator for an entire category? Currently I have one category but dozens of forums and I want to give several members moderator rights to all forums within a category. To setup a member as a moderator for each forum takes too long. Thanks for your help.
Not possible for an entire category. You can do it an a forum by forum basis, easiest way is to edit the forum properties and define the moderators using the lists.
True, it is potentially error prone and a backup would be recommended , but at least it would be less work than going into each forum and adding the moderators.
Go to the category in IE7, hold down the control key and click the next to each forum so the edit screens open in a new tabs. Then go back to the first one and start adding your moderator. Unless you're on dialup it shouldn't take too long.
