I have 3.4.04 running on Windows.

I have setup forum as one of my links in the my website. I want to have the login in the main page as well.

How do I go about it?

Okay, Thanks a bunch, but I tried this and it mess up the look of my website. I don't really like header stuff(Links) to show up. All Like to have is the box that gets you logged in.

If I remove <!--#INCLUDE VIRTUAL="forum/inc_header.asp"--> it doesn't let me log in.

Any solution?

Something VERY SIMPLE

First Page:

Log-in --The button that takes me to log-in page
Register --A link that takes me to register

OR

UserName: Password:
-------- -------- ----------
| sean | | **** | | Log-in |
-------- -------- ----------
|| Save Password
Register | Forgot Password?

and when loged in it shows:

sean --Show my username
Log-out --button to log me out.

I am looking for something much more simpler.

I am not aware of anything else to do this. Maybe someone else has an idea. You can see how this one is written and try and take a shot at writing your own? Maybe someone else has a better idea.

I'd suggest the Site Integration Mod, or look at the code and pick out the bits you want (paying attention to your cookies and where they're set)

The only thing is that I am not very asp savi, it would definatly be a learning process/challenge for me.

If you guys have any inputs please let me know. Or maybe someone like to take over the project and set it up as a MOD! :)

I think you're more likely for people here to try helping you as you learn enough ASP to make (and hopefully publish!) your own mod - the people here are largely expensive professionals giving their own time for free to help others to solve their own problems! Start with an ASP tutorial or two, get to grips a vit with it, write your own (simple) first app, and as you gain confidence people here will be only too happy to help you discover how to make the changes you would like.
